Session Terms & Guidelines
What to expect when planning your Storybark session.
Requests and confirmation
Submitting an inquiry requests a session; it does not confirm an appointment. Ginger will contact you to confirm availability, location, package details, and booking requirements. Review the session contract before booking.
Package details and estimates
Refer to your selected session’s full page for its length, included images, pet count, and rate. Your estimate includes selected priced add-ons and calculated travel. Quote-based options, travel beyond 60 miles, and any applicable tax may be additional. Final details are confirmed before booking.
Session deposits
A deposit of 25% of the session package price is due when submitting the inquiry and is credited toward the total. Travel and add-ons are excluded from the deposit calculation. Online deposit collection is not active yet; Ginger will arrange payment separately. Submitting an inquiry or paying a deposit does not confirm an appointment until Ginger confirms availability and booking details.
Founding clients
Founding client rates apply to the first 10 bookings or through December 31, 2026, whichever comes first. Regular rates apply after that period.
Your pet’s comfort
Share diagnosed medical conditions and anything that may affect your pet’s comfort or safety. Sessions follow your companion’s pace, with breaks as needed. Choose familiar settings when those help your pet feel secure. Cat outdoor sessions are not currently offered.
Illness and injury
Please contact Ginger before meeting if your pet is sick or injured. The current policy allows one free reschedule for illness or injury reported within the 24 hours before the appointment. If your pet appears sick or injured at the appointment, the session is postponed and a $30 rescheduling fee is added to the package.
Vaccination documentation
Rabies documentation is required for dogs and cats only. Upload a clear JPG, PNG, or PDF certificate for a dog or cat of vaccination age. For a puppy or kitten under 4 months, select the age option and describe their age and vaccination plans for Ginger to review before confirming. Birds, bunnies, horses, and pocket pets do not need a rabies certificate for this form.
Rewards and add-ons
Session treats are optional store-bought rewards and do not add a charge. Review ingredients and tell Ginger about allergies or treats to avoid. You may bring your own rewards or choose no treats. Special requests and larger groups are discussed before confirmation.
Image delivery
Edited photographs are delivered digitally within 7–14 days after the session. Included image counts appear on each package page. Additional image options are available; delivery and use details are reviewed in the session contract.
