1Before the Session
Tell me about your pet by email: their personality, what makes them nervous, and what you’d love to capture. I personally read and reply to your message, and together we choose the session and the place where your pet will feel most at ease.
2Getting Ready for Their Story
Before an indoor session, prepare a clean, safe space for controlled activity. Close doors and windows, remove hazards, and secure the room so pets—especially cats—cannot slip out. Have your pet groomed the way you’d like them to appear in their photos; I can bring a few brushes for gentle touch-ups.
3Keeping Your Main Character Safe
You remain responsible for handling and keeping your pet securely contained throughout the session, including home visits with shy, nervous, or reactive pets. Please stay nearby and let me know what worries them. For off-leash backyard photos, check that fences and gates are secure with no escape routes; otherwise, keep your pet on a leash or in a secure enclosure. I’m there to photograph their story, so their safe handling and containment stay with you.
4After the Session
Each session includes 5–7 edited images (10 for The Fur-ever Friends), and you can add more. Your edited images are delivered digitally within 7–14 days after your session, and the details are in the session contract you’ll review before booking.
