How do I plan a session?
Start with Sessions, choose your pet’s species, and open “Read the story” for the full package details. Choose rewards, any add-ons, and your location ZIP code. Review your estimate, choose an available time, and submit your inquiry. Ginger will contact you to confirm the details.
Is my selected time a confirmed appointment?
No. Your selected time is a preference, and your inquiry stays Pending until Ginger confirms your booking. Available times can change while you are planning.
What are founding client rates?
Founding rates are available for the first 10 bookings or through December 31, 2026, whichever comes first. These clients help build Storybark’s portfolio and first chapters. Regular session rates apply afterward.
What is included?
Each session’s full page lists its length, included images, pet count, and founding rate. Most sessions include 5–7 images; The Fur-ever Friends includes 10. Pocket Pet Mini Sessions include 3 edited images and last 15–30 minutes.
Can people or additional pets join?
People can join for $10 per person per session. The family group add-on is $30 at the founding rate ($40 regular), for up to 5 people, with 1 additional edited group photo and about 10–15 extra minutes. Additional pets or larger groups should be discussed with Ginger. Check your selected package’s included pet count first.
Do I have to use treats?
No. Choose an available store-bought reward, bring your pet’s own favorites, or select no treats. Session rewards have no additional charge. Read the ingredients and share any allergies or treats to avoid. Storybark does not currently manufacture or sell treats.
Where can we take photographs?
Choose a setting suited to your pet’s comfort. At-home sessions are available, and Locations lists public dog-friendly parks for dog sessions. Travel estimates use one-way driving distance from Rowlett (75088): up to 25 miles is included, over 25–40 miles is $35, and over 40–60 miles is $75. Beyond 60 miles requires a quote. The final fee is confirmed for your session address.
What if my pet is shy or needs breaks?
The session follows your pet’s comfort and energy. The inquiry includes optional personality sliders and space for details, plus a required question about veterinarian-diagnosed conditions. Tell Ginger what helps your companion feel safe so the session can be planned around them.
When will I receive my photographs?
Edited images are delivered digitally within 7–14 days after the session. Delivery details are reviewed in your session contract before booking.
How do I share a review?
Visit Review of Sessions!. Check “Yes” if you want your name and review published on Storybark. Leave it unchecked to share your review privately with Ginger.
How much is the deposit?
Your deposit is 25% of the session package price, excluding travel and add-ons, and counts toward the total. The inquiry has a deposit payment placeholder; online collection is not active yet, so Ginger will arrange payment separately.
What if my pet is sick or injured?
Illness or injury reported within the 24 hours before your Appointment qualifies for one free reschedule. If your pet appears sick or injured at the Appointment, the session is postponed and a $30 rescheduling fee is added to the package.
Does every pet need a rabies certificate?
The requirement applies to dogs and cats only. Upload their current certificate, or use the under-4-months option and explain your puppy or kitten’s age and vaccination plans. Ginger reviews these details before confirming. Other species do not need a rabies certificate for this form.
