How information shared with Storybark is used.
Session inquiries
When you submit an inquiry, Storybark receives your contact information, pet details, location, preferred time, medical notes, questionnaire answers, and selected session options. These details are saved in Ginger’s private organizer to review your request, contact you, and plan your session.
Rabies certificates
For dogs and cats, the inquiry form accepts one JPG, PNG, or PDF rabies certificate, or an age-related explanation for puppies and kittens under 4 months. Other species are not asked to upload a certificate. The file is stored with a private download link included in Ginger’s organizer record. Anyone you share that private link with may be able to download the file, so do not share it publicly. When email delivery is connected, an inquiry copy and certificate attachment are also sent to Ginger’s business inbox. Please upload only the documentation requested for your pet’s booking.
Reviews and permission
Submitted reviews are stored with your name, star rating, and website-publication choice. Checking “Yes” publishes your name, rating, and review on Storybark. Leaving it unchecked keeps the review off the website; Ginger can still read it privately. To request a correction or removal, email Ginger.
Saved session choices
Your browser saves your session selections and inquiry retry information on that device so you can move between pages. This can include your chosen package, rewards, add-ons, park, travel estimate, and preferred time. A shared device may retain these choices; use “Remove session” when you no longer need them.
Maps, travel, and other services
Map and travel tools use external services to display maps, locate ZIP codes, and estimate routes. If Ginger provides a Stripe payment link, the payment is handled by Stripe. Each service also has its own privacy practices.
Spam protection
The review service records a hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. Inquiry requests also use a hashed network identifier for spam protection. These identifiers are separate from the name shown with a public review.
